Legs with Filariasis

Filariasis is an infectious zoonotic disease prevalent in tropical regions worldwide. The cause is infection by a parasitic nematode worm belonging to the superfamily Filarioidea. Symptoms commonly seen are the elefantiasis, such as enlargement of the leg (foot) and penis sac (scrotum), so that these diseases are common disease known as elephantiasis. However, this enlargement is not always the symptoms caused by filariasis.
